Had surgery last week and I am extremely cold!!! I usually love to sleep with the air conditioner and fan on at night. I never wear socks to bed or long sleeve shirts.... But I have been freezing!!! Is this normal??

I'm 7 weeks out and I can't handle the cold near as well as before. I've heard lots of people say the same thing.

Yes. I am 14 months post-op and I'm always cold. I guess it's cuz I'm not wearing a blanket of fat anymore. LOL!

Over a year out and have never been so cold! All the time! Get used to it and get some cuddle duds.

I'll trade being healthy for being cold any day. :)

Wouldn't change a thing.

I am 6 mos. out and I have adjusted. Early on I was chilled all the time. I couldn't seem to stay warm. I would wear layers and turn up the heat. But slowly it regulated. For the most part I am ok. I don't think I get as warm as I used to, but I am no longer chilled all the time either. I think it is a natural and normal part of the process, lasting different lengths of time for different people.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
