I wouldn't eat the SF pudding cups but do make SF pudding from the box with milk!!! The pre-made SF cups are full of sugar alcohols...

I was allowed SF pudding during my full liquids post-op phase. It was wonderful the first few days, especially after being on Clear Liquids (where Jello was allows) for 10 days! I've since stopped having them, as it turned out to be a "trigger" food for me!

Be well…

I have been making it w 1% milk. It's not technically on my list but it has helped me during this crappy Preop phase.

I was allowed SF Jello, but not pudding. Other than the Protein Drinks, everything had to be clear.

I made up the SF Jello with the clear Protein shots from Walmart so the Protein content was higher. I could only get a few bites in at a time so I wanted to get the most protein in that I could and the Protein Shots were VERY sweet to me. If I diluted one 3 oz shot in 16 oz of Water, I could sip on it over 4-5 hours. By adding the same 3 oz to the Jello, I would get the needed protein in over an hour instead. (I still sipped the protein Water to get the fluids and more protein since I wasn't hitting my goal during the clear liquid phase)

Even now at almost a year out, I will make up the SF jello with the protein shot to have as a snack (now I add mixed fruit chunks so I get a serving of fruit in my day)

Post op, SF pudding usually isn't allowed until the "full liquids" or purees stages.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
