10 Days With No Food. Lord!

Today is my first day on all liquids, and I do believe my stomach is touching my back! This is really going to be a challenge. I don't understand how some don't have to do the pre-op diet, some do one or two days, and I'm doing two weeks. I'm just going to keep my eyes on the prize. 4/15 is my surgery date, which is also tax day. So essentially, Uncle Sam will be in my pocket whilst Dr. Wooldridge is in my gut. Men are so greedy.

I had a Protein shake for Breakfast, chicken broth, sf Jello and Water for lunch and drank water all day. I ran back and forth to the restroom so much that I thought of moving my desk there. When I got home I was so hungry I hurried and had a Protein Shake. I guess I'll have vegetable broth, Jello and more water and imagine that I'm at Olive Garden eating my fav Chicken and Gnocchi Soup. If anyone can add ideas to this diet, they'd certainly be appreciated. :)

I'm already taking the vitamins. I bought Flintstone's but that's twice a day. Today I bought Centrum chewables for adults. Also, B1, B12 sublingual, and liquid calcium, which I will have to order. I didn't see it at Walmart, which is where they told me to look. I have to get order with the vitamins. I think I'm supposed to take the calcium and other vitamins seperate of each other. I need clarity on that. Also, I take synthroid, which I can't take with anything else. I need a pill schedule now.

Is the Unjury protein really that good? I may have to get some. I like the idea of mixing protein with something other than water or soy milk.

OMG I start my liquid diet on Wednesday 4/9, thinking of starting it on Tuesday instead to try it out lol

WE CAN DO IT!!!! BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR WLS JOURNEY!

My drs ofc pushes that unjury pretty heavy. I have yet to order any. I don't think I will.

I'm now well into day 3 of my pre-op. I'm HANGRY!!!! LOL I've been eating my one meal a day earlier in the day, that has helped but I am SICK of shakes already. I've only gotten the chocolate ones of a few different kinds to try them out. I like the Premier Protein the best and I've been doing a Quaker Breakfast one in the morning. That tastes the absolute best but it is higher in sugar :(

hey yolicous1 I feel you girl, I would say make sure you drinking a lot. and taking b12 it help me a lot...and my vitamins.

2 day left for me before surgery and that it start over again...

I have been on the liquid diet for 8 days now. The beginning was definitely easier than it's been for the last 2 days. I don't even know that I'm that hungry but I am definitely missing the texture of food. Hearing other people going through this makes me feel a little better. Surgery is Friday...just trying to get through a few more days! Ugh!!!

Yes!!! I am HANGRY!!! I've been trying to stay strict but I admit I have been doing a little bit of cheating. I didn't do one of the three suggested shakes and I just had an egg. I don't think any of my cheats have exceeded the calorie allotment I'm supposed to stick to though. I've been very mindful of it.

Sigh. I am sitting here feeling a bit faint. A little jittery..... I just keep trying to encourage myself. 3 down, 7 to go. Idk how I'm going to make it through the last 48 hours liquids only...

We can do this ladies!!!

You can do it! Rest if you need to! Personally if I was hungry I just had another shake. I didn't limit myself and I lost ten pounds in two weeks.

Bariatric Advantage Vitamins are great. It's thirty five bucks for a month worth and they have everything but the Calcium. Look into it, it's less pills to swallow.

I was a crabby bitchy mess. The last two days was a weekend and I was holed up alone in our room in bed most of it. Hiding from food!!!

You can do it!

I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY to say tomorrow is my pre-op appointment, and also I'M NOT HUNGRY (or HANGRY, still find that funny). Surgery is not until 4/15, but I'm getting closer.
