suffering from hiccups

Recommended Posts

Hiccups for quite a few mean that your sleeve is full. There really isnt a way to stop them in my experience. I will hiccup once or twice once im full.

I get the hiccups probably 2-3 times a week since my surgery and I didn't get them before. I didn't realize that meant the sleeve was full. But I haven't found anyway to stop them.

Hiccups are my sign, too. I usually hiccup once or twice. I try to stop before that. If I eat too much, I get painful hiccups. No way to stop them, other than to wait.

I describe my hiccups as the fake-drunk-bad-acting hiccups. They are so loud and go for a long time, if I eat too much. My four year old thinks it is hilarious but my 11 year old pretends not to know me.

I get one or two hiccups even if I haven't been eating. For example, I got up at 230 am. the last time I ate was 830p. Yet, after 1 sip of Water, I got a hiccup. Research states hiccups are a lack of oxygen. So I don't know.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
