  2. I eat pizza occasionally, but usually go for thin crust if possible. It's just not one of my favs after surgery since it sits kinda heavy.

  10. Went clothes shopping today for my husband's reunion. I bought size 14!!!!! I'm down from a 24!! I had the sleeve on Feb. 7. Just over 5 months and I've lost 80 lbs! I'm going to look hot tonight!!
  11. I received a card but have never used it. I usually share with my hubby or my son. Heck, the other day we all 3 shared one meal. It's helped my hubby lose some weight (about 35 lbs since my surgery. ).
  12. Most people don't notice. They are too wrapped up in their own stuff to notice.
  13. I had that. My doc said it was where they removed the stomach and it would be more sore, especially in the mornings. If you experience pain when eating and drinking then call the doc ASAP!
  14. My levels are perfect. I have them checked every 3 months by my surgeon and every 6 months by my primary care doctor (who prescribes the meds).
  15. My nose starts to run. A bite or two more and I get the hiccups.
  16. I had a similar pain. It felt like I pulled something. My dr said that is the side where my stomach was removed and I'd feel some soreness for a few weeks especially after I was more physical. It took a few weeks, but went away.
  17. My doc gives protonix. My friend decided to stop taking hers and could tell a difference in " hunger ".
  18. Sleeved on 2/7. I'm down 63 lbs. went from a tight size 22 to a loose 18 now. I feel great!
  19. Yes. I'm 3 months out and can gulp several ounces at a time.
  20. I use celebrate chewable vitamins. Made for bariatric patients.
  21. It gets better. For now, add something to water like crystal light.
