Pain?!?!

I am 17 days post op and thought I had pulled a muscle on my left side about 5 days ago but the pain isn't getting better in fact it's getting worse.

It doesn't have anything to do with the sutures or surgery I don't think.

Today I woke up from a nap and stood up and thought someone was squeezing and twisting my insides at the spot.

Anyone have any ideas or experienced this?

I was told that it was muscle tissue healing. had the same kind of pain last week and a few days later it just eased up. Now it's just about gone and I'm able to bend and turn on either side when I'm laying down. I walk a lot and I feel that helped a lot. Hope you feel better soon :) Had my surgery on June 17.

I had that. My doc said it was where they removed the stomach and it would be more sore, especially in the mornings. If you experience pain when eating and drinking then call the doc ASAP!
