Tomorrow is the day!

Spending the day at SeaWorld with my husband and children before surgery tomorrow. Don't feel too nervous just anxious. Ate my last meal today now liquids and mag citrate until midnight! I feel ready, it's now or never and if I don't do it I'll never loose weight. I guess I'll just get the hang of things as i go. Reading peoples before and afters as well as struggles and success has really helped me stay focused, thanks to all of you!

Best of luck to you tomorrow! You'll do great!

Walk as much as you can after surgery - that will help you get rid of some of that gas they pump into you.

Let us know how you're doing!

Wishing. U a speedy recovery. The first month may be trying. But just be patient with the process of eating in stages, getting rest, and focusing on your health journey. Most people starts out very slow with drinking sufficient Water and eating the Protein target set for you. . So don't disappointed... It takes time...it took me 6 weeks before I was close to my protein target.

Best wishes and a prayer for an easy time of it. It was 10 times easier than we feared. I guess we all expect it to be awful and I was so elated following surgery I felt like a teenager lol! Relax and get waited on while you can.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
