  3. I have so many shakes left and I am using varying kinds of shakes. I want them to stop sending me shakes. I didn't get a shipment in June but then I got one in July!

  9. Good job! Keep up the great work!
  10. It did help a bit. That plus the reglan.
  11. I had the same thing at 4 weeks and it lasted about 2 weeks. My doc had me use mylanta to coat the stomach and not advance my diet. It just went away one day. I hope you feel better soon.
  12. That is amazing news! You should be very proud!

  14. I am the same way! I don't know how they expect me to get all of my protein in by food alone at 6 weeks out. The diet is impossible with 64oz of liquids and 60-70 grams of protein daily. I have to have at least 1 shake daily to supplement my protein and I'm still not getting it all in.

  24. Had my 5 week check-up this afternoon and I'm no longer morbidly obese! I'm just plain old obese! That was the best news ever! I have lost 40.4 pounds total and feel great! Best decision I have made in a long time.
  25. I second those selections! Plus "The Everything Post Weight Loss Cookbook".
  26. As an RN I could not survive without my NA, secretary, etc...
  27. I wasn't aware that we had to all agree or get permission to respond to posts. We are all equally important on this forum. Believe me I'm pretty sure people posting on a bariatric forum are aware that the world is not perfect.
  28. When I am on here my goal is to help, educate and enlighten those who need support in one way or another. I hope that others will help, educate and enlighten me as well. I don't throw a pity party for myself and never have. If I did I would not have made it..OKAY! Taking my experience and putting it into a pretty little blues package was very hard of you. Just because you are military does not give you the right to be a Drill Sargent on here. I am happy that you can stick it out and will push aside anything that might get in your way. That is a great attitude. But not everyone is as strong as you. Are they not allowed to express how they feel as you are allowed. Stepping up to the plate will be a fine example if you endure any hardships over your decision to have WLS. But until you do....Anytime now or in the future, you cannot guarantee that you will handle it perfectly just because you were taught to endure...Life has a way of kicking us in the arse when we think we have it all together and humbles us once again.. If someone wants to tell me on here that they are having trouble even with the first issues of WLS. I will chose to either reply or pass over it. You can do the same! Thank you for this. I couldn't believe what I'm reading. We are all dealing the way we can.
  29. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions. Had my 2 week post op and saw the dietician. They think I'm doing well, but that my sleeve is very sensitive and I need to baby it. So my dietician and I came up with a plan that I am pleased with. I feel better today as well. Plus I'm down a total of 18 pounds since surgery! 30 including post op diet!
