Bad Breath
I had it, and trust me, it was not fun! I am a month out today (yay) and I have found it is not nearly as bad. Once you start introducing new foods back into your diet, it calms down. Keep you some sugar free mints handy!

Healing Time
I did call and they told me almost exactly what you all have said. She was like, you did just have MAJOR surgery with a lot of things shifted around. LOL, she said I know your incisions are small, but the surgery was large! I have calmed down, and I appreciate all your input. Thanks fam! Keep going!

Healing Time
Hey All! First let me say that I know EVERYONE is different, but I do have this question. I am three weeks out and while I feel pretty good most of the time, I still have a bit of soreness in my abdominal area (I had two incisions in my waistband area) and every now and then a twinge of pain. I just need to know if that is normal. I had a hernia repaired as well. I almost want to call the doctor not because the pain is so severe, just because I am in the wonderful land of paranoia and don't want to do ANYTHING to mess up my new body! Please advise! Thanks!

2 Month Progress ( Pic Included)
You look great mama! Keep it up! We didn't gain it overnight, and won't loose it that way either. Perspective is key in this. You are getting healthier and Mo Betta than before! Well done!

Finally off the clear liquid post-op diet.
Odesa, my doctor is the same way. Once I was put to soft foods, he said that he wanted me to get the majority of my Protein from foods. I am glad to hear you say that, because I thought I was the only one! She's Sleeved, hang in there girl! Even if it is two bites, you are rebuilding your new body! We can do it! One restructured bite at a time! Good luck!

Old Things in New Ways
I do mostly eggs, but I was just wanting something different. Thanks for the advice. I have Stevia, so I will use it more. This is so weird for me because I am (almost) 3 weeks and I have entered the 'paranoid' stage where I don't want to mess up my progress or eat the wrong thing, but I am tired of eating the SAME things all the time! I know this sounds whiney, so I apologize in advance.

Old Things in New Ways
Hey there! Can I just say that Cream of Wheat without butter and sugar is like fresh Hell! I am running out of things to eat for Breakfast that are not breads or fruit or fatty meat! I personally hate Protein shakes (no I haven't tried them all...yes I know there are a bajillion out there and I will have to pluck through.) So my question is, how do you make hot cereals tolerable without wrecking the program? I mean, honestly, I hate the taste of artificial sweeteners. Like the minute they touch my tongue, I spit it out. Please help!

After surgery does your body smell
I live in sugar free mints. I can't stand it, I talk entirely too much for my breath to be out of pocket! Does anyone know about how LONG this travesty will last?

4 day post-op Doing fine
Good deal! I know, my first day at home alone, I was quite sad, but I made a day of it. Remember to walk, walk, walk!
