I have no problem eating ANYTHING! My bad habits are back, and I eat subconciously. I have not gained any weight, but I haven't lost any either. My surgery was 12/27/13

How much Protein are you getting? Water? How fast are you eating and are you waiting 30 minutes before and after you eat?

You San get back on track by going back to rule #1: Protein first. That should fill you up so there won't be room for the junk food. Sadly, even with the sleeve, it's too easy to consume junk food. It does not engage the restriction like dense protein does.

I would talk to a diet counselor and start a support group ASAP. It can be done. Be confident. Posting on here admitting there is an issue is the first and hardest step. Just know that you are stronger than food.< /p>

Thanks for the help so far. I am back on my protien shakes, 3 times a day, and making sure no Water for 1/2 hour before and after. I have also contacted my dietician. I just feel like such a failure, as this is something I want more than anything!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
