Greek Yogurt weird question

I have this weird texture issue thing where I can't even look at the Water that forms at the top of sour cream (gagging just thinking about it).

The Greek yogurts I have bought have all had this same water substance on top. Does anyone know of a brand that doesn't separate like this?

Just stir it back in it's the whey separating and it's good for you. If it doesn't separate then it's full of chemicals. You can also just pour it off the top.

I have used multiple brands and they all separate. I'm with Chelenka, if you find a brand that doesn't separate I wouldn't want to eat it ;)

I agree with what everyone else has said - it's supposed to separate like that :)

I love my Dannon Greek Yogurt.....I live on the vanilla fat free with only 80 calories per container. I put a cup of fruit, usually blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries with a little granola (about a 1/4 cup) and it is a great Breakfast or snack for around 250 calories. It's awesome

I'm with you on the liquid being gross. I have started shaking my little yogurt cup before I open it, problem solved. :)

Another trick I've read about is to store your yogurts upside down in the fridge to avoid this.

I tried this because of the lower calories and I think it is absolutely gross. I tried the strawberry cheesecake one and it had no flavor a tasted like artificial sweetener. My dog wouldn't even eat it lol. Zoi is my all time favorite but I do like chobani as well.

If the yogurt even starts to get warm it separates even more. I bring one to work in my lunch pak and this doesnt keep it cold enough and it separates like crazy. So now I put it in the fridge at work. Also 10-15 min in the freezer will tighten it all back up again so you dont see the separation and it's nice and chilled :)

I do like Fage a lot - it does separate but it has a texture and flavor similar to sour cream.

I pour the whey into the dogs' dishes....

That's the whey to go!

It doesn't bother me, I just stir it back in. But if it did, I'd have a hard time eating it.

I've started adding a couple teaspoons of Peanut Butter, equal, and a little sugar free Torani caramel syrup to my Fage 0%, and I LOVE it!

I get grossed out by the liquid too. I eat it anyway.

I love dannon light&fit greek! Coconut is my favorite but I like strawberry as well and just got strawberry cheesecake to try as well as chocolate raspberry. I don't care for the blueberry or the raspberry. I shake it up before opening and that takes care of the separation.
