Hi Mariana, congratulations and welcome! It's very exciting turning our lives around like this. I am so happy to have my band. It's been three months and I feel like I'm getting a handle on my new lifestyle. It takes some time to get the fills right, etc., but it has gone very smoothly. Best wishes to you -- it's fun to think of spring and where we will be, then summer, etc. Eventually a year out, two years -- I'm not setting any records for loss but it is working and I'm getting there bit by bit. I know I will succeed, which is completely new thinking for me after so many failed dieting attempts. This is a lifestyle change. Yippee!

Congratulations! Also, Welcome to the club. :) You'll find tons of information on this site. You'll be able to find topics on almost anything you can think of. If you don't then don't be afraid to get in there and ask away. There are people on here who are just as vested in your progress as you. For me this site has helped me so much because its good to have buddies who know what you're going thru and can keep you grounded.

Best Wishes!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
