Does anyone else feel like they have a hair ball stuck in the back of their throat every time they eat?? It's so annoying...happens after I take 2-3 bites. I stop eating of course, and then it takes about 30 minutes for the feeling to go away. Sometimes if goes away quicker when I walk around or burp.

Sounds like possible reflux. You should talk with your doctor & let him/her know. Possibly you're too tight, or you need to take something like Prilosec? I would definitely check it out. I have had that feeling, and for me, it's acid.

What mrsto said is correct give your doc a call. Seems like things are not going down all the way and/or coming back up.

I love the hairball reference though!

definitely you are too tight...go in and have them take a little out and see if that helps. I am on my 2nd round of being too tight and had the same feelings. (I let mine go too long and had swelled so bad from it had to have a complete unfill for a month again...aarrgghh...so am trying to maintain the weight gain as much as possible but it is hard being back to square 1 again) If you feel that lump in your throat etc...it is because you are too tight and the food is sitting on the top of your band not going thru. A slight unfill should help as you dont want food sitting there. Eventually it will lead to "acid" type issues which can be dangerous too.

I am wondering the same thing. I just got my fill Saturday. I am only comfortable eating chicken broth and a little bit of oatmeal. I just worry I will get an unfill and be hungry like I was before.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
