Weight loss on 2 week diet

Recommended Posts

Everyone keeps saying that preop gets better by day 3 or 4. I'm on day 10and it is still hard. The reality that Monday is my day is kicking in. I'm so nervous I have hives today. Going to try to calm down. Good luck February sleevers.

Im on day 4/10 preop diet and already down 8 lbs. Im required 64oz of Clear Liquids, 3 Protein Shakes and one meal with 3oz of lean meat and 1/2 cup of whole grains and 1 cup of veggies. The days are getting a little easier but I am not going to lie ...IM HUNGRY lol....I found that Crystal light is my best friend when I feel hungry I just sip sip sip. Good practice for post op too. 8 days to go surgery date 2/13.

Hat is normal amount to lose on a 2 week liquid diet with only a 750 calorie intake a day?

It depends on so many factors (starting weight, height, gender, metabolism, etc.)

I lost 14lbs in 2 weeks (12 days of liquid Protein shakes and 2 days of clear liquids.)

Does anyone else feel like avoiding starting the pre-surgery weight loss efforts until the have a date? I'm having a hard time getting motivated, and since my surgery is at best 3 months away, I just don't have the zeal to start, even though the RN said I should. (I've got about 180 to lose all told).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
