Sorry, not me. But it's weird that it's your left shoulder. For the past 2 weeks, I've been having pain in my left shoulder, like I dislocated it, but not quite as bad as that. It's very annoying and hurts when I sleep, when I'm active, any movement I make with my left arm. :-( I'm thinking of going to see a chiropractor if it persists.

Please call your doctor, it could be a leak. I hate to even think about a leak being just 7 days out but I am working hard to be extra careful about vomiting and over consuming. Please take care of yourself.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about! It only happens if I eat too much, though. It's always been that way for me. The key for me is to pay close attention when eating, go slow, and wait in between bites so I can be sure to NOT overdo it.

Surgery November 18, and I had pain in the left shoulder. No pain meds since I came home. Today I had an episode after I ate and swallowed too quickly and I know that it is associated with the episode I had, not any leak. It is just an ache in the shoulder. Strange but not worrying me. Best wishes.

Linda, I just happened to be looking at this thread and saw your post. Sorry to report that that left shoulder pain is from the gas and it can last a lng time. I'm 7 weeks out and still get surprised by it occasionally.

I take a pain pill, but I'm not sure it does much.

I had right shoulder pain once followed by vomiting. The pain was bad. I agree call your physician. Good luck

Does anyone else get pain on their left shoulder when they eat? It gets really painful.. But it then goes away!

Before I had my lap band remove, I would get that pain if I ate too much.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
