Any January Surgery Bandsters?

I just got my date! I asked for Jan 16th so I could have a long Martin Luther weekend to recover. I got my date...whoo hoo! I wanted to connect with others for this time frame. So excited can't wait.

Today is my day. Need to be at the hospital at 7:00, unfortunately due to the weather it is going to take longer to get there. Praying we get to the hospital safe with these snow covered roads.

Hoping the best for you. I am behind you. I am next Monday.

Waiting on the call from the hospital with my surgery time for tomorrow 01/22.. Started my "clear liquids only" this morning... Both nervous and excited. :(

Walked multiple times. My shoulder just feels like I pulled it from the gas, no nausea. My mouth is wicked dry, feel like I can't get enough fluids in me. Glad I have an overnight, because we are getting snowed in here in PA.

Its a good thing you r thirsty bcuz i felt so bloated i was struggling to get all the fluids in.

I am home just a little discomfort not much but I'm trying to walk this gas pain away and it's not working, I'm about to try a heating pad

I'm tomorrow. I'm nervous. I want to get it over with ASAP :)

Good Luck, wish you a speedy recovery.

Wow! Look at all the people who got banded between yesterday and today. Congratulations Ladies!! You are on your way to Recovery and the next step in your journey! Take it easy for the next few days and think about YOU and how you are going to meet your goals. You went through a lot to get here, but there is still a long road ahead until you get to where you want to be.

What I love about this site is that we take good care of each other!

Got my band yesterday, will be going home soon. Have pain in my left shoulder still trying to walk that out. Drinking plenty of water. Just had a little bit of soup.

C all dr are different. I could only drink 30cc per 1/2 hour. Made it hard to get my fluids in
