Mine is on the 27th also. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

Don't get me wrong I'm excited I'm just ready to get this journey started.

I feel the same way.

I am home now from surgery today. My stomach feels bloated and there is slight pain on the biggest incision which is, I guess the port. They glued the incision no stitches. I don't feel gas pains yet. I am really tired slept all day. Doesn't hurt to walk, but it is slow. I am sipping water when I am awake. It is like you instinctively know not to guzzle. I did have jello maybe three bites. No protein today.

Try really hard to drink your protein drinks...Popsicles also taster REALLY good right after surgery...walk as often as you can and it will help keep the gas pain away...I burped a lot...so let yourself. CONGRATS and welcome to the family of Banders!! I am a week and 4 days out and by no way an expert...bit I have done AWESOME!!

Ya i didnt have any protein requirements until week 2. Now i think im getting too much lol im still at the beginning of week 2. I still have the bloated stomach gas pains.

WALK WALK WALK!! GasX or Gavisgone (sp) will help

One week from now I will be in recovery in the hospital! I'm getting excited! I am so ready to start my new life.

I am officially banded the surgery itself isn't that bad. Not being able to move that gas is horrible you have to get up and walk that's the only way the pain won't be as intense

Today is my day. Need to be at the hospital at 7:00, unfortunately due to the weather it is going to take longer to get there. Praying we get to the hospital safe with these snow covered roads.

It's almost time. I'm just waiting for them to put my iv in and then surgery...

Getting prepped now too! Just started my and drew blood. I'm 1st case this morning with 0730 start time.
