  2. Oh okay I forgot what shift your on makes a big difference. How are you feeling after surgery? My pain is about gone it just feels a little weird to have the lapband in.
  3. Congrats on being banded. I was banded last Tuesday.. Be careful at work though since we're not supposed to lift a lot and CNAs tend to lift a lot.
  4. I'm day 4 post-op. I have to say I'm feeling okay. I still have some gas pains but not as bad and so far I've lost 9lbs.
  5. I can understand that but for me I don't want to lose a ton of weight too fast that's how patients end up with loose skin. Plus technically it's not health to lose more than 3lbs a week. Just remember this is a tool.

  9. Hey everyone it official I a am banded as of yesterday. Other than gas pains I feel fine. I'm not hungry which is a good thing. I've been drinking my water and eating jello. One more day of clear liquids and then full liquids and finally onto the mashies.. Congrats all you January bandsters.

  13. Congrats girl!!! You got this..
  14. I'm excited for all of us. I was thinking either once a week, every 2 weeks or at the doctors. Im not just gonna weigh myself though I'm going to take my measurements to. Sometimes the scale doesn't move like the inches do. My final goal will be 140-145. I'm thinking of doing some that stones thing where you put one in for each pound.
  15. Hi msirish my surgery is going to be on the 21st so not too long after yours. Congrats and good luck.
  16. My lapband surgery is scheduled for the 21st. I'm 27 years old. I think it's a great idea to share our stories and support each other.
