finally after all that running around I got a date. Im scheduled for January 20th, 2014 with Dr Koshy at St Lukes Hospital. Thats in NY. I was expecting a sooner date but he will be on vacation on December.

I am so glad to finally have my date. what about you guys? anyone else has a date for January?

Neti-pot to help get rid of your sinus infection. It is uncomfortable first time but really helps! I'm using one daily to prevent any sinus infections before surgery. I get sinus funk all the time. I'm also taking a vitamin C supplement to help.

If neti-pot is too much for you then you can also do saline must sprays.

Pre-admission testing went well today. All set for January 8th! I'm just hoping cold/sinus infection is completely gone. Can't imagine coughing after surgery. I was worried that the surgeon and anesthesiologist would want to postpone .

Do NOT use a Neti pot for a sinus infection. It says on the package to NOT use it if you suspect one.

I'm on last day of Z-PAC. Just going with saline spray

Surgery date January 15th - lapband was removed November 26th - a whole new journey and I"m very excited. Liquids begin January 1st:-) Good luck to all!

So today starts my 3 day clear liquids only. My surgery is Monday.

Anyone else having surgery at White Plains Hospital in NY?

Sorry if this is to much TMI. But my cycle has came on and surgery is scheduled for Monday. It's going to be a mess.

I am in the same shungsleeve. I am not scheduled until Wednesday though so I hope it is gone by then. It came on the 1st so unless the liquid diet has changed things considerably, I am hoping I will be fine,

I start my 2 week liquid diet on Monday! 5 protein shakes a day plus tons of water! I cannot believe how quick this has come! I am soooo ready for this!

Surgery date jan 21st in Edmond, OK with dr. Walton

Lost 6 kilos in 6 days - living on 2 cups of tea + chicken n veg soups + 1pc of chicken twice daily. Surgeon happy! Hiatus Hernia repair + sleeve scheduled for 7th Jan!

Lovelaura good luck! I start liquids tomorrow. It's weird that our diets are so different, since your surgeon and my surgeon assist each other. I will either have Dr Walton or Dr Broussard as the assisting surgeon with me next Wednesday the 8th, and I met a couple of weight wise patients when I did my nutrition class.
