My daughter took 3 pairs of jeans from me this weekend..that only gave me a couple pairs of pants left...I begged my hubby to take me to the store to get some smaller jeans so that I would be prepared for the next size down...He did...I bought all 14-16 pants...

Today for fun I put one of the pair of 16 brown cords on and they FIT....with no compression garment either...I hardly ever wear them at home....Lets see...gone from a 6 X to a 15-16...hmmmm.....okay I'mm totally stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice! That's gotta feel good!

I'm on the verge of not having any jeans that fit...in a good way for a change! No larger sizes for this gal!

On another note, are you feeling better? I hope all is well.

I have jeans in the closet but refuse to check for another two weeks since I was significantly smaller when the fit. THat is the one piece of clothing that I can't wait to buy! A nice pair of size 10...maybe even an 8 Silver brand name jeans with all the bling on the bum! LOL! Enjoy your much smaller cords! Great job!

RJ, I am so glad to hear that you may have licked the pneumonia. I like that your docs are being extra careful with you (as they should). And a size 16! That's great.

I made it to a size 18 today, so keep on keeping on! I'm right behind you.

RJ you've come such a long way with much success. Congrats. Now don't make the mistake made. I hadn't worn a size 16 in 20 years and was thrilled. I got lazy and stopped losing weight. Went into a maintenance mode of eating. Did a great job not gaining any weight for a year. Now I am in year 3 and I want to lose more and its much much harder. So enjoy those 16s u deserve your atta a girl. But keep pushing while the pushing is good. I wish someone had told me that two years ago.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
