So as suspected I found out I have a leak. Who does this happen to? Me that's who. I go in on Monday and find out if they can find it but unfortunately it looks like I am going to have surgery again. Booooo. I am so sad, good news is that even though I am at a stand still with losing weight and have had this horrible set back, I continue to lose inches and can see the results of my new lifestyle (working out, smaller portions). I am down pretty much fifty pounds from 229 lbs. to 181 lbs. I work out 5 days a week and feel better than I have in years. I hope this is a temporary hick up and I will still succeed. Maybe I will do better than originally because I believe my band never worked quite like it should have. Wish me luck on Monday. Sorry so long of a paragraph, just had a lot I wanted to share. I attached a pic of my progress in the last 10 months of my life with the band.

Oh man! U look HOT! And the band never worked at its full capacity so u've done this mostly on your own. Ur doing just as awesome without it.

Are they going to give u a new band? Or repair the old one?

If i cld do it again, id try the sleeve instead.

Well all has passed and it was a leak in the port. I had surgery the day after Christmas. It was not as bad as the initial surgery. I got a really bad stomach bug a week later but all seems to be going well as of now. My Dr. Filed my bad to 3cc during surgery and I am going to see him in a week. I am already feeling restriction that I hadn't felt in a long time. I am down to 180.1lbs. as of this morning. Yay! To sickness. Lol.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
