Ahhh dangit!! Better luck next time. No one likes an overly needy man. Explains why he was single lol. Next...

yup! Found out early, no harm, no foul. Was kinda fun being back in the game though. Briefly.

The way I see it your laying down not standing up. Think of that as a blessing. My flapjacks which were 48g pre op and now are just empty I don't even know what to call them they look nothing like boobies look best when I'm on my back

Funny, when I lay on my back just my girls end up falling off to either side and end up in my armpits. You must be a lot younger. Lol

My suggestion is to by some sexy lingerie. I mean the type that you put on and think DAMN I'm hot!! Then just relax. Most men are so excited about having sex they are not looking at the imperfections that we see.

It is so hard to see ourselves as hot new women, but that is what men see. When I have a man compliment me I think to myself oh if you only saw it naked. However I have realized that is the fat girl talking. After being with my husband through the fat years and now the beginning of my skinny years I realized that he does not see the wrinkly skin or the boobs down to my waist. He sees - oh my wife is naked - oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! Men just see things so differently.

"Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!" Yup! That pretty much describes it. My hubby acts the same way my dog does when someone opens the refrigerator door. He hopes it means he's going to get something. Lol

So now you have time to practice being comfy in your birthday suit. Walk around naked (ok, in your room when the kids are asleep), look at yourself in the mirror and think back to where you came from. Think about how much more energy you'll have in the sack! Wait for a guy that's worth it, and then you won't even care!

if he cant accept you then he is so not worth it. he should admire you for doing something so courageous and changing your life for the better!

An adult relationship is not about wanting to "bang a hot girl". He is attracted to your every layer. He will be so thrilled that you allow him to have that experience with you. Just tell him you are not ready to do a strip tease or have wild lights on uninhibited sexy time at this point. He WILL still be happy to share the intimacy!

@@mskami77 You are sooooo right! My husband showers with me and never seems to care that I look like melted goo. I've directly asked him and he says I will always be beautiful to him!

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
