  1. DON'T DO IT! We are addicts, food addicts! This disease will transfer! The disease is in our thinking. I am a recovering alcoholic, I drank before RNY occasionally, after I started drinking slowly, in my head I was getting away with it, it became everyday for 10 years. I am now sober 2 years! I use a couple of 12 step programs to work on the head space. I am working on the 60 lb regain, I lost 130 after surgery (2011)

  3. Grats to ALL!! I am 3 years out in a few weeks!! Lost 120 initially, have found a few back...... but its all a journey, a learning process, a new ME!! Don't fight forcing the foods that you handle well. Focus on what works, it is a constant change. Just remember protein, protein, protein!!!!
  4. HELP!?!? Need a good app for a food tracker!!!?
  5. Girls girls girls!!! Lol!! We are such worry worts !!!! The right guy wont care!! I met a wonderful man, his ex wife is 5'2" weighs as much as my flabby thigh....... I was so worried I would be too big?!? I'm 5'8" with flabby thighs, flabby boobs, flabby belly, flabby........... all he sees is me when we are naked. My heart, my soul, my joy, my beauty. And BTW....... boobs are boobs to the right guy!

  9. Dump the dood !!! I know a guy that helped his wife regain all of her weight back, and now belittles her over this matter! He is huge and wants an eating buddy....... I have spoken to him many times over his lack of support.
  10. Batcap Ty for giving a guys perspective!! Very much appreciated !! If we girls are searching for a guy, we do need to know what you actually are thinking!!
  11. Don't be afraid to talk about it!! Its part of the healing process, think of all the people you have the chance to enlighten?! You have nothing to hide, be proud of making a decision to better your health! Besides, when you tell them and they react negatively...... you don't want them in your life anyway!! Surround yourself with positive people, with the right guy, it wont matter about the surgery. He will love you for you! Not to mention, where are you going to hide the stretched out skin?? ....tuck it in your socks?!?!!
  12. Wow!! Thank you for sharing!! I have been drinking ALOT of wine!!! And have regained 20 pounds, due to my "private wine and cheese parties!!" I have felt such shame, because I felt I was failing myself...... AGAIN!?! But you sharing helps me to see I am not alone, I can regain my control, find the pride and joy in another lesson learned!! Thank You, blessings and great success !!!
