Hi Everyone' date=' So far so good! Highest Weight 304 Surgery weight 294 on Oct 14 Current weight 266 28 lbs in 3 weeks sounds great. But of course I can't really tell a difference yet. All my clothes are for lounging (I work from home), so they are just little droopier than normal. The biggest excitement is that I can wear some sports bras that I haven't been able to fit into for months and months. So, we know where that 28 lbs came from now don't we! Kay[/quote']

That's the only place I can see a difference in the weight loss thus far is my boobs but I ain't mad lol

My first post-op appointment is today and I am so excited!!! Have 3 weeks really already gone by?!? I can't believe I survived the 3 weeks liquid diet... Hoping (fingers crossed) I will be advancing to soft foods today after my appointment! While I know I'll only be able to tolerate a bite or two (as even now yogurt/ pudding goes down like a brick), I'm excited for different flavors/textures!

I'm have lost 38lbs in a month it's ridiculous. I'm in the puréed food now but I find I don't want to eat because it doesn't taste right to me and I'm just not super motivated to eat. Had anyone else experience this?

I'm old and low BMI but I've lost 25 lbs from starting weight 4 weeks after surgery. I've been losing about half a lb a day since it kicked into gear.

Sleeved on 10/30/13 with a weight of 272. I think I am doing ok' date=' having a problem getting Vitamins down, just doing my best. Im sick of the fluids already, but its all part of the journey. According to my scale I have lost 12 pounds. I was tired all the time, but yesterday I had trouble sleeping, thought that was odd. I think food commercials should be outlawed, or at least the pizza ones, lol. So good luck to everyone, keep in touch. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />[/quote']

Hating the food commercials also! I am on day 5 of my 10 day pre diet!

Absolutely!!! I hate the texture of grounded meat so it's hard to find Protein and the shakes are no longer my favorite go to it takes me so long to drink 10-12 oz.. I imagine it will get better for us...

Wow! A lot of October sleevers here!

Surgery day; 10/7/13

WT day of surgery; 298

CW 280

It is starting to get easier for me now. I mean, I am still having gassy issues, and even pain when I forget to chew the chicken well enough, and I still can't eat without a bit of distress, but I am in the middle of stage 3 and get to actually eat food now that is not blended first! I can get down about a quarter cup of solid food, but if I resort to blended Soups, and such, then I can drink a whole cup of that! I have been to a couple of restaurants again, and it is disconcerting to be able to eat so little, and the plates they bring you seem like a feast that can't possibly be consumedn by a single human! I can basically eat about 4 bites, and then I am done, cuz one more bite just because it tastes good is just no fun when pain and misery starts setting in. I guess I am still healing!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
