This is a stupid question I know but do you need a passport to go to Tijuana ??

Some people have been able to cross the border with only a state issued "enhanced" DL and a birth certificate embossed with a raised state seal. I suggest having the passport or passport card as being the best and most efficient way to go.

I would recommend a passport. If something happens medically and you cannot be driven across the border, you cannot fly out of Mexico with just a birth cert.

Since 2007 American citizens have needed a passport to get back into the U.S. Apply today. I needed to renew mine quickly so I paid the expedited fee and it arrived in a week. I think normally it takes 3-4 weeks, but may be longer for a first time passport.

You don't need it to get into MX but they did look at ours when we tried to get into the US.

Yes, you must have a passport or passport card to travel to Mexico or Canada, if you expect to get back across the border, that is. As Cindy said, the law changed some years ago.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
