I love cottage cheese plain with s&p, but my fav is a sprinkling of dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix! I bought a container almost the size of a parm cheese can. Super yum, matter of fact I think that's dinner :P

I like it woth avocado and tapito. I also blend it with eggs when I make scrambled eggs. No one in my family knew my secret to my great tasting scrambled eggs. Another scrambled egg secret, blend a dollop of greek yogurt with ur egg mixture. They taste great. I did that once when I had ran out of cottage cheese. :)

I had to laugh, I've eaten probably 80 % of my food from a 1/2 cup measure ever since my surgery! (over 5 months ago)

I am 8 days post, but found an 8 pk of glad re-usable with lids, 1/2 cup containers. Been making my Jello in them and eating my strained Soups. Since I usually cannot eat the whole 1/2 cup yet, at least I have a lid to stick it in the fridge. Best part is they were less than 3.00 bucks for 8!

This might gross some of you out, but If you add a little marinara sauce and heat it up (especially baked) its a bit like a deconstructed lasagne... Some might find they like it. My grandpa always put Bob's seasoning salt on it, but that adds sodium. ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
