Dreaming of Food?

The entire time I've been on the liquid diet I've had vivid dreams about eating food. In some instances I felt like I could taste and it and would occasionally wake up in the panic thinking I'd cheated. I find this weird and hilarious.

Has this happened to anyone else

I have had that happen when I have been on diets before and I expect it will again when I start my liquid diet next week.

It is such a freaky feeling and the dreams are so detailed.

I think about food all day even though I'm not hungry I think its cause I'm bored or what some flavor ... I been thinking of what I'm going to eat when I'm able too lol sad

Yep, I do dream of food also. I am three weeks post op, last night I had a dream I ate a big dish of spaghetti with meatballs, and a lot of pasta, with a piece of garlic bread. I woke up so worried that I would ruin my sleeve with all that pasta! What a relief when you realize it's just a dream!!

Yep, yep, yep. And I would wake up feeling guilty and then relieved that it was only a dream LOL!

I dreamt I went to my moms house and he one thing her fridge had was Chinese take out. The whole thing was full of it. I woke up in a sweat too.

:-)

I totally did this the first week and a half of my liquid diet. It was frightening. I just wanted something with texture so badly, I was even dreaming of eating foods I don't like!

Too funny! I did the same thing except it was after my surgery! My husband thought it was funny too. I would wake up in a panic ...thinking I had drank a soda one time!

Isn't it assuring to know we are all "normal"(whatever that is)?

It's crazy how powerful the brain is!!!!!!

My dream was the doctor used toothpicks to move my liver. I have no ideal why i was dreaming that...

Had the first dream I can remember in a long time the other night. Only it wasn't about food... It was about Adam Levine ....and it was a very good dream. ;-) sigh
