How many of you are eating Pasta? I am eight months out and I have not had much luck with eating it. Does anyone have a pasta dish or recipe you would like to share that sustitutes pasta for some other kind of vegtable like zucchini or spaghetti?

I eat Pasta. Not much of it but I do eat it. Wish I could help on the subs but I just have never tried any since I can handle pasta in moderation.

I eat Tofu Shirataki. You have to try it. You can find it next to the tofu in the produce area in Krogers and Safeway. It is so good. It is like spagetti and you can even stir fri it with veggies. My husband and son love it too. I really stay away from the high carbs like Pasta so this has been a savor.

Protein first, then Small quantities of whole grain, whole wheat Pasta is not bad. If you deny something you really want, your gonna eventually feel deprived and may head down a "dark path"

Spaghetti squash is really good. Most have directions right in them but you just have to throw the squash in the microwave and then cut in half and the meat of the squash resembles spaghetti...then you can add meat or sauce or whatever you like. It tastes a little different, but with sauce it's just like spaghetti.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
