Today for the first time in a long time I went to church, after all I have so many things to be grateful for. My body had change in a way that I run cold all the time. I came home from church and had a cup of diet hot chocolate with soy milk, but WHY???? the devil tempted me and I had it with a mini cornbread. After having an awesome a religious experience having that mini cornbread I feel like crap. I am only 7 weeks post-op. Feeling like a looser

You feel like a loser because of a mini muffin? Girl...you need to relax a little. No need to beat yourself up. You ate something that may not be ideal, you didn't run over a puppy on purpose. Track it and move on. You won't always be perfect and expecting that of yourself is only setting yourself for failure.

Don't be so hard on yourself! Pray and ask his for strength. We make mistakes but we have to learn to forgive ourselves so we can move on.

Life is in moderation, and so is the food choices we make. I had a very bad week where I over did it with food, but I'm looking forward to next week to start on the right track.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
