Congratulations on your progress so far!!

Sorry can't help you with the throat thing but if you've had it checked out and they don't see anything it may be just something that will get better with time.

I know I had a problem drinking Water for almost 4 months without having a wierd sensation in my stomach.

Good luck on your journey!

The lump in the throat is what I had when I had excess stomach acid. I had hunger pangs and the lump. I started a PPI (Omeprazole) and it got better. PPI is a proton pump inhibitor lke Prilosec and Nexium.

was that you i saw doing cart wheels in the mall yesterday???

wonderful weight loss :)

3 cheers for you :)

the doc did a test on your throat saying all is well :)

but...............it it persists for quite a while

go to the doc again!!!

you/everyone needs to be aggressive about their health

just because the doc says all is ok - it has happened that finally "they" say, "oh yes, i do see a prob" something like that

i'm sure/hopefully all will be well sooner than later

keep up the good work

kathy

congrats

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
