Hi I am from Sacramento /elk Grove and just had my surgery on 10/1/2014 @ Sutter General under Dr. Steven PATCHING. I am at home in recovery mode. I came home with a Drain that I am not too happy about but hopefully it will be taken out on Tuesday at my post op appointment

Hello everyone! I am from Manteca CA. I was sleeved 10/14. Every thing seem to going well for me I have not had any issues. The only thing that I have a little problem with is the lack of energy. BOOOO!

I had my surgery done in Santa Barbara while I was in college but now I am currently in Santa Cruz.

I'm in Sacramento. Mine was done 7 days ago at UC Davis.

I'm in Tracy south of Stockton

Just found this. I'm in chico too. Sleeved by dr. Simchuch (Ludwig assisted). Who was your surgeon and how are you doing?

I was sleeved by dr Simchuk as well. My Surgery was on 11/25/14. How are you doing.

hi, sorry, I'm not on here very much anymore. .. I hope you're doing well, it gets easier, I promise! It's been 14 months and I'm doing great... very healthy and all my labs are good... I lost 95 lbs and one of these days I'll kick my ass* into gear and lose the last 15 lbs, lol... it's definitely harder now because I have to really watch my diet and make good choices, but I keep up on it daily. I moved to Florida so I'm not in Chico anymore, but I hope your experience with Simchuck was as great as mine.♡

I am in san Jose. :D

I am in San Jose too!

Are there any support group meetings around that you know of for San Jose?

I went to my first at kaiser Campbell. You don't have to be a kaiser member to go. It was small but maybe because it was right before Christmas. Very nice helpful people in various stages of post op. I plan on going to the next one on January 28th at 6pm.
