  2. my surgery was on May 31st, just a little over 5 weeks ago. I am feeling more like myself now. Trying to get the Water in and the calories up. I have been averaging 500 to 600 calories a day this week. Definitely headed in right direction. Saw the dr yesterday and was told to get my caloric intake up as well as my Protein. Thank you for asking. Did you have the surgery? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Seems like you are doing pretty good now. Are you getting more support from your family now as well? Yes I had my surgery back in 2012. I lost about 100 in total and I am working to take another 20 off. That's a tough 20 to get off that's for sure.

  5. I think finding another sleever or someone who has had weight loss surgery in general would be great. I haven't though. I am really open about me having it done and nearly everyone has been supportive which is great.
  6. Did you have the surgery done? I wish I was on here more frequently so I could have seen this. How are you doing?
  7. Yes single. Flirting is fun now that I understand who is flirting, that took a while.
  8. I am 5'11 and now I weigh roughly 185. Before I was sleeved in 2012 I was 300 at my highest.

  15. I had a consult with a plastic surgeon about a year ago now about a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck. I thought that I could get by with just a standard tummy tuck but boy was I mistaken. I learned that I would need what was called a lower body lift. This requires a full incision around your waist (right at your bely button all the way around) in order to remove the extra skin from around that section. What the results would be is tightening and flattening out that tummy area along with lifting your thighs and butt a bit. I am definitely going to so this in the future I just need to loose about 20 more pounds and save up some money for it as it is a big costly. I would love to donate the extra skin that I do have to a burn center and I will be looking into that when the time comes. As for the other surgery, I got that done in January, and could not be more happy with them. My doctor says they are perfect and have settled amazingly. It is quite the confidence booster and I am really excited about everything else in the future.

  17. My skin didnt snap back as I have hoped, so somewhere in the future I am going to get a lower body lift done. As for my breasts, they disappeared and became small and pretty deflated, so I had a breast aug done about 3 months ago.
  18. Absolutely! I am 25 as well soon to be 26 and had the sleeve done over 3 years ago now. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to shoot me a message!

  20. Honestly in my case my skin didnt firm, even as much as I tried to keep up with working out. I heard of a lot of 'at home' things people do to try to tighten it back up but nope. My surgeons told me dont even think about getting plastic surgery until 2 years after. And plastic surgeons want your weight to be stable for as long as possible otherwise its like doing the work for nothing. I am working on getting a lower body lift to take care of my extra skin. It will happen eventually its just a matter of getting all the funds in order and at least trying to get insurance to cover it.
