2.5 years out

Recommended Posts

I've been able to maintain between 134 to 139 for 1.5 years. I do have a lot of sagging skin on my inner thighs afraid to wear really short, shorts or a bathing suit because its visible. Received a quote for plastics in Mexico for a thigh lift for 2500 not a bad price. Anyone suffering from this and what's working for you?

My inner thighs are awful. i lost 157 since being sleeved... closer to 180 from my lifttime high weight so i guess I have skin for more then two people. Good news for me is that my calves and outer thighs are pretty okay.. but those inner thighs are horrid. i can wear longer shorts, I can even wear skirts above my knees without nylons. If I wear stockings/tights/nylons I can even wear short skirts.

As far as I know, plastics is the only solution to this problem. The thing to know is that inner thigh lifts are a bit painful and the results aren't as "solid" as torso surgeries like tummy tucks - meaning more problems with wound separation etc. It is potentially also a very visible scar.. but... I think worth it. My thighs are firm and well muscled... covered by crepy ugly skin that's gotta go!

Congrats to you for losing and maintaining so well! You must feel just great about that.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
