I second the benefiber. I put it in my crystal light Water and nextar Protein and i dont even taste it. I have also been spending my days pinning recipes and its making me hungry even though im full. But im pinning them to make them when i can eat real foods again and find ways to make them healthier.

Had Surgery 10/21. Hopefully going home in a few hours. Pain is still bad, and no gas yet?? Weird. Eating Jello, broth, and Water. Ugh. Not loving life right now.

Today is post op day 13. I was going to wait until next week at my post op appointment to weigh myself but I was curious. Day of surgery 10/10 weight was 243. Today's weight is 226. I know I should be happy but I guess it just scared me a little to lose 17 lbs in 13 days. My stomach is still swollen and strangely I came on my cycle again within 2 weeks. I guess my body is adjusting to what has happened. Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Just got back from post op appointment and cleared for blended food! I don't think I could take anymore sweet stuff. It grosses me out. Before surgery I loved crystal light, now I can' t stand it. Will this change?

I feel for you Chelle. Im home now but not comfortable. Feeling nauseous and dizzy. Im definitely getting all my Water in and following my nuts plan but geez....Im certainly not one of these post op patients who come home feeling amazing. I keep trying to remember what other members on here have said. "it will get better". I sure hope so

MadisonMolly is right, everyone is different regarding going back to work.. I work construction and am out for 8 weeks at a minimum...

Week 3 check in for me, I'm down 20 pounds finally.. I had a 5 day stretch where I didn't lose a pound, slightly frustrating.. Hope everyone is doing well...

I've had a stretch of 2 days no weight change and then 3! days of gaining. I have been following the plan to the letter and I know this shall pass eventually. Just a bit frustrating. On the plus side, I have lost an inch in my waist, hips and bust.

I just had an ah-ha about why I'm gaining weight. It must be because I was told to stop taking a diruretic pill that I've taken for almost 15 years.

Hi everyone! Had my surgery done 10/22 @10AM. I did great during surgery I was told, but recovery is very rough. Lots of gas, just barely farted for the first time about 10 mins ago. Pain is bad & I can't sleep much. I am sched to go home in about 5 hours but I'm going to ask my doc to let me stay 1 more night. I just know I won't get to rest at home. I have a 7 y/o son & a 3 y/o daughter.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
