I am set to have my surgery October 7 . I have so excited to began this new journey of my life. I have always been a big girl but after the surgery I can Finley unzip my fat sute once and for all lol. I have been reading posts that are very incourgeing and hopeful that I have made the right choice for me. I would like a surgery buddy lol....

I just started my liquid diet today. I made it through day one okay, just really tired tonight. How's everyone else holding up?

Thanks everyone. I'm in a lot of pain. My incisions are very high and i have alot of gas pains. Did well in surgery though. Been up walking & hope the catheter comes out in the AM so i can walk comfortably.

Pre op diet is going really well. Just can wait till Monday when I am on the other side. My poor boyfriend is suffering as I am so anxious.

I'm about 42 hours after surgery and feeling great. I was expecting so much pain and it hasn't been unbearable at all. I'm just doing what I'm told and all seems to be going well. I hope everyone else is fairing as well. It's still a little hard to believe that it's done that my new journey has started.

Congratulations to all of the new losers! And prayers for our friends with upcoming surgery. A new life awaits us all!

Well my liquid diet is no longer an issue for me. My cold has taken away all desire for food or beverage. Which is good in a way I guess. Just got to stay hydrated and hope it goes away before next Tuesday. Set up a schedule on my phone to remind me to drink drink drink. Popping some vitamin C and Tylenol Cold and Sinus. Needing lots of prayers right now. Going to go wash my brains out with some salt water. FEEL like going back to bed. NEED to get on the treadmill.

Im on day 2. Doing ok but very hard to be around my coworkers and family when they eat

CW: 262 surgery date 11/6/13

I'm doing good today. Yesterday dr tanner had to go off on by nurse. I went three hours with no IV so I had no pain meds or nausea meds. I went to my X-ray with no meds. When he came in and saw that I had no working IV he was very angry.
