OMG October 2013 Post-ops
I was bad. My husband had eggs for dinner and they smelled so good, I stole a bite of his egg...mostly yoke. I'm just so tired of broth!

- Not getting support. I don't understand why......
Just know we are here to help. Sometimes just knowing that others have experienced some of these things help.- OMG October 2013 Post-ops
So glad I'm not alone. We will get through this!- OMG October 2013 Post-ops

Congrats! That is so awesome!- Anger issues post-op
Yes. I posted about that in another thread this morning. I am just one week post op and not all that angry, but crying a lot...over really stupid things! Get well cards, food, my husband eating real food (okay, that one kinda makes me want to punch him) but you get the idea. Even when I do get angry, I just want to cry.- Horror stories?!?
I have a "horror story" someone shared with m when I told her I was having my surgery. Okay, more like a single sentence, " I hear it makes you crap your pants." I didn't let her scare me. I had it done on 10/28/2013. Just thought I'd add my true story to the mix.- OMG October 2013 Post-ops
My inner two year old is having tantrums and turning me into a wreck. I'm only one week post op and thought I was really prepared for this emotionally, boy was I naive! I just want to nibble something savory and the thought of Jello or popsicles make me want to punch someone. I dreamed about refried Beans last night and seeing my husband eat his Breakfast of eggs and biscuits and gravy sent me to the other room with chicken broth and tears in my eyes. Why did I have to let myself get into the position where surgery was the smartest option? I'm sorry, I just needed to vent my tantrum. Carry on.- OMG October 2013 Post-ops
