  1. HI All has anyone tried wine or drinks yet? How did it go?
  2. I had stalled too. I was told up my protein make sure to take all your vitamins and up my cardio by 10-15 minutes. Within a week the scale moved. Its been moving slowly but its still moving. Hang in there its only 6 months we keep losing for a year to 18 months WE WILL GET THERE
  3. That is awesome your feeling so good. I can't wait for that!!! I have had issues and my healing is slow I just started to eat food 3 weeks ago being on liquids left me very weak. Now I am ready to workout and feel stronger. I am so glad everyone is doing so well. Keep it up ????????????
  4. When I stalled doctor said I was in a high level of ketosis and to try slightly increasing carbs and protein. I did and it kicked it up Good Luck ????
  5. Ok so we all seem to be doing well yay! Now I am curious what exercises are helping you the most? Are you straight cardio or cardio weights or strength training? I am elliptical walking strength training girl. I am wondering about yoga and pilates but I am not sure if that's more maintaining stuff and not for weightloss.

  7. Wow God bless you! 65 and doing a 5k that is beyond great. That is a true inspiration to us all!!! My surgery was November 21st I am 92lbs down I have had many complications and been on liquids until 2 weeks ago. Finally able to eat I am now strong enough to get my exercising started which I did last week. You all inspire me with your great successes and I can't wait to be were you all are. Please keep the updates coming. I for one need to hear how people at the same point are doing. I find it motivational and truly inspiring.
  8. You guys are doing great! Those are fantastic accomplishments I had the same issue of not "seeing it" the nurse/doctors office said it's body dismorphia like how anorexia patients still always see a fat person. They said it takes time and you need to wear new you clothes that fit and look at before and after pics often so your body image changes. Oh I will look you up on my fitness pal. I am so glad you don't want my money lol
  9. How is everyone doing so far? What has been your best weightloss moment besides seeing the scale go down?
  10. Awww that's terrible I hope you get better soon. If you don't mind how long until the TPN helped you feel better? I am desperate to feel better lol
  11. Awww that's terrible I hope you get better soon. If you don't mind how long until the TPN helped you feel better? I am desperate to feel better lol
  12. Thank you so much. No I have never had one. I am desperate to feel stronger and better. Do you know how long they stay in?
  13. It's IV fluids and nutrition. I have been on fluids forever with unsuccessful attempts at purred food and solids. They can't balloon me because I have not healed enough and I have a high risk for rupture.
  14. I had my gastric bypass November 21st 2013. I also had a heller myotomy with a fundiplication wrap for achalasia and hernia repair. My surgery is specialized so my time frame is off. I have had many issues and I am still not on solid foods (almost 4 months). Now I have been told I need to be on a TPN. Has anyone else had to go on TPN? How long did you have to be on it? Any information would be helpful and appreciated
  15. Thank you that is so good to know. I thought it was just not being ready yet but I have big issues with chicken. it hadn't occurred to me to try turkey thanks. oh btw are you able to eat and drink together yet or is that still off the table? Trying to see what I have to look forward too
  16. Hi All My surgery was 11/21 and I am down 78lbs but I have been at a stall for 2 weeks desperately hoping it ends soon I have had a tough go of it and have been on liquids most of the time. I am a special case though I had to have a heller myotomy for achalasia and hernia repairs so my bypass was specialized. I am so glad everyone is doing so well!!! I can't wait to eat food lol. I am concerned with eating too much too quickly what would you say your typical meal size is where you feel good?
