I am set to have my surgery October 7 . I have so excited to began this new journey of my life. I have always been a big girl but after the surgery I can Finley unzip my fat sute once and for all lol. I have been reading posts that are very incourgeing and hopeful that I have made the right choice for me. I would like a surgery buddy lol....

Just got the phone call. Preop registration stuff at 8:30. Then last visit w dr before surgery at noon. Surgery scheduled for 28th have to be at the hospital at 7:30am!!! Super excited. Nervous. All of it still lol.

Surgery is today!! Excited, nervous but not scared like I have been for the past week. I am last on the schedule but of course they want me there by 7:30 am ... oh and I was told to bring a book . Everyone take care and send prayers my way! I will be back on the other side of this journey in a few days.

I have been home since the 17th and have been having a really hard time. I had lap band removal, hernia repair and gastric bypass along with that I had alot of adhesions to work through. My pain level has gotten under control but I have been very weak with nausua and lots of sweating. I called the Drs office and they said that it was the beginning of dehydration and called in zofran and told me to step up the water. It has helped some...I have a follow-up appt tomorrow and hopefully things with get better.

5 days down in pre op diet feel good about not cheating but all the food commercials are killing me !!!! Only 9 more days ! Congrats to everyone who has had surgery and good luck for those of us to come in the next few days better things are coming our way.
