I am set to have my surgery October 7 . I have so excited to began this new journey of my life. I have always been a big girl but after the surgery I can Finley unzip my fat sute once and for all lol. I have been reading posts that are very incourgeing and hopeful that I have made the right choice for me. I would like a surgery buddy lol....

Six days post op. Walkin... Did some errands Saturday.Getting fluids and protein in but I sure miss texture and chewing. Its still a little tough cooking for my 9 yr old. Just some soreness no major pain. Hope everyone is doing well.

Well, only one week out from my surgery now. I'm not feeling nervous or even excited yet. It's come up on me so quickly and I have so much to get done beforehand. Having a full time job, going to school part time, three kids and a house to get ready for company, since I have family coming out to help me out post-op, has got this girl a little over tasked right now. School has me more stressed out than anything right now. I'm really hoping not to fall behind over the next couple of weeks. At this point I just want to get the next few weeks over with and get on with my life.

Gone and when I get home. My hubby wants to stay at the hospital with me so I have to make a schedule for our son and all that good stuff! It gets stressful!

Did you have a lot of pain right after surgery? Did you follow a strict diet before surgery? Did you ever cheat a couple of weeks before surgery? Sorry to ask so many questions. My surgery is on October 29th and I am starting to get very nervous and excited!

I have my surgery on the 30 th as well. I go to my last class Tuesday and hope to find when I do my liquid diet then. I'm excited but so nervous. How r u coping?

I start my 2 week liquid diet on Wednesday, I'm a nervous wreak and excited all at the same time!!

I have about an hour before leaving for the hospital and my surgery. I was doing okay until my oldest daughter (9) asked me why I had to go. Anyhow, pray for me and the surgeon today. I'll let you guys now how it goes. Already really thirsty and so not looking forward to the gas pains that everyone talks about.
