The Slow Losers Thread
I too am a slow loser I am glad there is a thread for us. I am happy for those dropping a lot of weight but must admit I wish I was one of them. I am 10 weeks out and have lost 26 lbs. today I have gained 2 pounds back but I am swelling in my ankles. I tried my was pill last week my ankles looked great some weight came off but ended up with a migraine and thought I was going to pass out and probably would have if my husband had not been there to get me to my bed quickly. Not sure what to do about the edema because I surely did not like those side effects. I try to keep telling myself the weight will come off but that little voice inside comes back with worry I won't.

surgery date- and now SCARED TO DEATH!
Is anyone else losing slowly? I have lost 20 pounds in 5 weeks Tuesday will be 6 weeks. I hit a stall week 3 for 2 weeks and this week I have not lost anything. I am able to eat 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup which is more than I was told which was 1/4 cup. I have a lot of head hunger. Trying not to get discouraged. I am so afraid I will be one of the lap band revision to RYN that doesn't lose. Any advise appreciated

3 day stall already at 21 days out?
I understand how you feel I stalled going in to week 3 I have not lost anything in 8 days. At first I was ok I knew I would stall at some time but now I am getting depressed about it. My energy level is bad and not losing any weight does not happen ready for a change!

That's good he had to do the same thing when he found out the nurses were not emptying my JP drain unless I asked them too the manager never came to my room which I thought was bad.

That is horrible did the manager Sonya ever come by and talk to you? I would talk to Dr Tanner again during your post op exam I know he is trying to get that floor back in shape.- OMG October 2013 Post-ops

I would put all that on your survey when you get it. That floor needs some good leadership- Any October surgeries out there...
That is awful kkelly37 which nurse was it? I went off on a nurse along with my husband one night. She informed me she had to get report that why I had to wait 1 hour for pain meds. Needless to say that was the wrong thing to say. I informed her if you worked for me on my nursing unit that would never come out of her mouth patients come first.- Any October surgeries out there...
