Ugh!!!! First episode of getting something stuck. Any suggestions on what to do? I have papaya enzymes but I'm a month out and not sure if I should take them.

Pill crusher

They're chewable enzymes but I'm not sure if I should be taking them this soon out from surgery. The piece of food passed through my stomach but I can still feel it in my intestines. So uncomfortable.

I already crush my chewable flintstones Vitamin, just preparing ahead.

I'm scared of screwing things up too. I am still week one post op so I can't have any food yet. Today I have no energy and lots of lightheadedness.

highest weight: 380
date of surgery weight: 376
current weight 366

Make sure you are getting enough Water. It sounds like you could be dehydrated.

First off let me be frank ' date=' this is a dumb question! but i am not sick , not allergic to anything and have sneezed maybe.... 5 times in the past year. over the past 2 days I have sneezed no less than 100 times. Has ANYONE experienced a change after surgery , like you are now allergic to something ??? its all over so its not one place and besides the RNY thing and exercise still do almost everything the same . any input ... ...and keep the laughter to a minimum.[/quote']

You make me smile! I have not had any sneezing. I hope you figure out what the problem is and get rid of the sneezing!

My friend who also had it done told me its because you create new blood and with the new blood comes new antihistamines which could make people itch... Sneeze....have allergies that they didn't have before Etc... If you think about it actually makes sense lol ...I guess there's nothing you can do except sneeze lol so God bless you ;)

When I had my lapband, I would sneeze when I was full and knew not to take one more bite. I'm guessing maybe it's the same sort of thing! Sounds crazy, but it really is true!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well. I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening. So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this?? Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
