Heading to my pillow for a few hours. Have to be back at the hospital at 5:30am for a 7:00am surgery to laparoscopically remove adhesions that formed around my intestines during my bypass surgery. I don't ever ask' date=' but please pray this fixes all my issues and allows me to finally eat and drink like I'm supposed to and without pain/vomiting![/quote']

Best of luck! Keeping you in my prayers!!

Yesterday morning I was so fatigued, by noon I was full of energy, I don't know what's that about...Well today I'm 3 weeks post op and I can move on to Stage 3, soft foods, two weeks of this, then I go to Stage 4, soft to regular foods, this day I've lost 27 lbs. Yayyyy, can't wait to have scrambled egg and baked catfish.

On Wednesday I'll be 4 weeks post op. I had foot surgery two weeks after my bypass and had been doing well with it and walking well. Everything was going good with my bypass until I got a stricture 2 1/2 weeks out and had it dialated friday. Then yesterday i went to the gym, had a good workout. When I got home and got out the car I fell and damaged my foot bad enough to need 6-12 more weeks off from work. And I have to say I have never been as fatigued as I am now on crutches. I have been on them before with no problem and I was much heavier than I am now. I don't want to leave the house at all... it has to be from the surgeries. Tomorrow I get to go get my esophagus dialated again.... I think I need to start this week over!

My goodness! What a month!!! I hope you feel better soon! Try and enjoy your time off of work. At least it's summer and you can lay out during the day to get a nice tan. :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
