  1. Thank you both for replying. It's not heartburn or acid, I have had and have that from time to time. I don't think mine is from over-eating, I am not really eating, haven't felt to hungry lately. It's just so annoying, and wish it would just go away!! Thank you :-)
  2. Has anybody had any issues with mucus build up in your throat? I am 7 weeks post op, I had this problem a few weeks ago, it seemed to get better, but now it's back. Ugh, it's so aggravating and annoying! Makes me gag. Any comments, solutions, suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Hello all. Hope everybody is doing well. Me, not so much, I am really starting to second guess my decision. I had surgery on June 18th, 2013. First two weeks I was doing well, other than being sore everything was good. Then I started my purée stage on July 2nd and it feels as though everything went down hill. I feel nausea 99% of the time, and at times have a stomach ache. I am able to drink and eat so I don't think I have a blockage, however with the way I feel I don't want to drink or eat and am struggling to meet my liquid and protein requirements. I didn't have a bowel movement for about a week, so I did take some milk of magnesia and thankfully I did and thought maybe that was the problem however I am not feeling any better. I did call and speak with my surgeons office and basically they said to keep getting my liquids and protein in, maybe the reason I feel sick, if I am not getting them all in, yea I get that however it's a little hard when your sick to your stomach. I am just so frustrated and don't know what to do at this point. I am so tired of feeling this way. Has anyone else experienced any of this? Is this normal? Any suggestions? Thank you all for listening to me, any help will be appreciated.
