Howdy All!

Im 32 years old, and I have a 14 year old son. I have been overweight my whole life, I never thought it was a problem till recently. I own a business and my partner in crime (Bonnie) had it done. Its been about 2 years ago. I've always been scared to do it, but finally about 6 months ago I made the decision to do it. I'm tired of being the biggest one in a room, I'm tired of not being able to do all those things I could be doing because I'm weighing my self down! Roller coasters, canoeing, hiking, swimming....I could go on and on, but if your reading this your probably going through similar things too! I have about 3 1/2 weeks to go before my surgery. I had to start 4 weeks of Opti-fast (cant wait till thats over!) Its been a ruff four days lemme tell ya! But I know it's for my own good....I wanted to join a forum because where I'm getting my surgery is like an hour away, so to drive there just for support groups when gas is almost 4 bucks a gallon is a little outta my reach. But I'm going to keep this for me and anyone who's journey has just began or who's thinking about it. I CANNOT wait to put up an after picture! :) SOOOO we shall see how it goes! anyone got questions or comments? Lemme have em!


and BTW...this may be TMI....but my urine smells like Opiti-fast!!! LOL! :P
