Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

I can't wait! I had this realization today of how badly I need this when I was totally out of breath and coughing just because I had to park a little further away from work than I normally do. I'm so young that its scary!

Hello everyone, I just started taking the workshop classes, 2 more to go, and I have to do a Nurse Ed class next week so far everything looks pretty good, hoping to get the last week of June for my surgery so it can tie right into my vacation week, excited and alittle nervous ......

I just had my last set of appointments today and from the doctors' standpoints I am cleared for surgery! I should hear in about two weeks if insurance approves me. I could technically get a May date, but as a teacher I will need to push it to June during summer! I'm so excited and ready to lose!

Thank you! I'm so excited! This has been a long time coming. Now my last hurdle-- getting work to approve the time off. Geez will I ever be happy when I finally wake up from surgery with my bypass! Haha
