3. Hairloss has really kicked in this month. When does it stop? Boy oh boy! Thank God I had thick hair but now my hair stylist is noticing. I haven't told her a thing about surgery.
4. Transformation Tuesday! I'm officially in ONEderland! Starting weight 272 and current weight 199.5. Surgery 6/4/13! Go me!
5. I haven't been on here since I have been back to work. I have noticed that when I take in more calories I lose more weight. Anyone noticed the same thing? I am now down 67 lbs and 5 more and I will be in onederland. I am addicted to exercising. I can jog a full mile non-stop! My only problem is the attention that my weight loss has given me. I'm not use to it and I really don't like it. Especially when they beg to find out what I've been doing. I've only told a few so no one really knows. Are any of you guys on the med. Urisodiol? My doc said since my weight loss is rapid, this should help protect the gallbladder.
6. Heavy and painful. Heating pad is my best friend during that time.
7. I was worried about jerky being to tough on my pouch, but this was great.
8. I use Miralax every day to every other. Works wonders. My doc said it was fine but you may want to check with your doc.
9. Just thought I would share. I have been battling dry skin since surgery. No I'm not dehydrated but my doc told me this is just a side effect. I bought some pure vitamin e oil and just lather it on after baths. My skin looks and feels amazing!
10. This is what happens when my husband is at annual training with the military. My son clogs the drain with tons of toilet paper. Nothing seems to work so I decide to do one last thing before calling a professional. Without details...it was disgusting! That seemed to do the trick. I finish all of my other household chores and then discover that my ring is missing!!!! I back track...can't seem to find it. Now I think I see something shiny in the drain. I call my dad and he tells me what to do. What do I find.....a shiny dime, marble and a shoelace. Really son! Now I can't put the darn pipes back together. I think I broke it. I'm happy I've shed some pounds but I didn't think I would lose my ring. I need to find it before he gets home
11. My before and after. I don't have that many before pics because I would hide from cameras!
12. 8 weeks post-op today and I'm down 55 lbs! I was able to jog on the treadmill and didn't feel tired. ...major accomplishment. There are other small things that I've noticed but most of all I FEEL GOOD!
13. That sounds yummy!
14. I had some today. Not much protein but it's healthier than chips and crackers. I saw the lentil kind as well.
15. I was stalled around my 5th week. I found drinking more fluids and increasing my calorie intake gave it a jumpstart again.
16. I just had leftovers from yesterday. Crab stuffed mushrooms with cheese. Gosh it is so good. They give you six but I only can eat one at a sitting. Yummy!
17. I went to the gym but they were about to close...I could have easily gone to my house and relaxed but I stopped at the walking trail and walked 3 miles. I feel GREAT!
18. I just recieved a bill from the hospital. My surgery cost 49 thousand dollars. Thank God for insurance. Such a blessing and a great investment towards my health!
