  5. Are you drinking cold water? That could be the problem.
  6. So far, that's the only thing I can get down!! Everything else I start gagging on!!!!!
  7. It went very well!!! 40 lbs gone altoghether! I was shocked!!!! I'm having a lot of trouble getting the protein and water in. I'm doing pretty good today. Got an Isopure Alpine Punch and that's going down fairly well. Dr wants me to drink room temp water, but it just won't go down! I'm keeping it cold, so that's going better too. I'm a little dehydrated, but not horrible. Can start on stage 3 purreed foods Wednesday.
  8. I lost 50 lbs when I was 18 and my shoe size went down a size.
  9. It's darker than it normally is, but not horribly bad. I don't have any fever. I've almost gotten 20 oz in today. Not enough, but much more than I have been getting the last couple days.
  10. Very normal!!!! I promise it will get easier!!!!!
  11. Nothing bad, just a little light headed.
  12. I'm fairly certain I'm dehydrated. I had my surgery 8/6 and I was having trouble getting anything to go down. Finally figured out that I guess I wasn't taking small enough sips!! Started taking even smaller and it goes down much better now!!! My question is, now that I'm drinking more, should I wait and see how much i can get down or should I call my doc? I have an appt with him on Friday for my post op visit as he will be out of the country for the following 2 weeks.
  13. I suck on them a while before chewing them. It helps with the texture. I was on them about a week before my surgery because I didn't want to buy a big bottle of multi's that close to surgery.
  14. I was told nothing but walking until 2 months out.
  15. Yeah, I came back today. I'm about to go home before long though. I'm a legal Assistant and I'm the only secretary. So, I had to get things moving around here.
  16. I'm one week post op today and I drove to work this morning. My Dr said as long as I wasn't on pain meds and could comfortably hit the brake pedal I could drive.
  17. I can even take a small sip of water and it feels like a lead balloon sitting in my stomach!!!! I've gotten in about 15 gms of protein today and maybe 10 oz of water and that's it.
  18. I'm only 6 days post op but I'm having lots of trouble with the protein and water! I can't get more than about an oz down without feeling full!!
