I think this is fairly common. I'm approaching week 3 and haven't lost anything since the beginning of week two. I read that it's common to not lose anything around this time but the weight loss picks up again at around week 4. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

I'm having the same issues...lost 16 in about the first 10 days...and 1 lb since then...today is day 15...I know I'm not getting anywhere near the protein I should be...but its soooo hard!!!

I have been the same since last week. I was thinking I was doing something wrong!

OMG....ty, ty , ty.....It is soooo hard to hardly eat any where near what we used to eat, and not lose an ounce...so discouraging....so glad to hear im not alone and this is common...thanks for answering me and putting my mind at ease!! xxxxx

I'm 2 months out today. I stall ALL the time. I'm down 32lbs. It's fantastic but from what I use to eat, to now... It's a drastic difference. I thought the weight would fall off. The scale will stay the same for a couple weeks, then...boom 5 lbs will b gone. I've been told to meet your protein & it'll help.

I stalled after 10 days and haven't lost anything in 11days....:(

For the last two days my stomach hurts every time I take a drink of something....I'm fine eating...tho it's only pureed stuff...it's the liquid that seems to make it hurt...I take a drink, it hurts for a minute and then stops...

could you be swallowing to much at once...i thought stricture, but if food doent hurt, that doesnt make sense...

It is very common! Your body is in shock. Since you are eating so much less, your body thinks it is starving and therefore holds onto everything. It will level out and the weight will come off. Just keep getting your Protein and Water in, and exercise. It will happen!

No it happens even when I take small drinks...the weird thing is, water is the worst...

very odd...call your doc tomorrow, maybe they have seen it before and can give you a straight answer....:(

For me, I think it was the 3rd week that I stalled the first time. I'm only 3 months out and have stalled a few times. A week at the most and then BAM, weight starts coming off again. Don't get discouraged, It'll come off.

I had my surgery on 5/15/13 and am down 66 pounds.

Good luck to you!!
