I'm having big trouble with eating all my Protein. Im sick of just eating meat. I can't start with veggies and fruit for a while. At least 75% of my weight first. Ugh it's killing me. I just want to eat something. Yesterday I had turkey bacon a chicken wing and a hamburger patty. Ugh help

You can do cheese as well. Cottage cheese, cheese sticks, and mini baby bells are good. Also eggs have lots of Protein. I do my best to get my protein in ever day but there are just some days that I need variety. So some days I don't get nearly enough but I try to fill in at least some of it with cheese Snacks in between meals.

I must be buying the wrong hummus because everyone says it's good Protein but the ones I've gotten have almost no protein.

For me I use egg whites. You can buy double pasteurized egg whites and add to anything. I add it to my morning energy drink. I took a drink with no Protein and now it has 24g of protein. You can't taste the egg whites. I also put it in my Water mixture of crystal light. Again you can't taste it and now it is 24g of protein. You are getting your fluids plus protein in one shot. Do not get the store bought egg whites as they are not safe to consume raw. You need to get the double pasteurized eggs.

My doc says you need to get the majority of your protein from whole foods. Eggs white are considered whole foods so that is 48g in 32 Fluid oz. not too bad if you ask me!

Hummus has some protein but you are right not a lot about 2g usually. It is better than eating something with none I suppose and it is usually well tolerated.

you can mix some unflavored Protein powder in with it.

I like making my own and a little heavy on the garlic and lemon.

great idea! Maybe I will try that at lunch! Someone else also suggested making a scrambled egg with cottage chesse in it. I haven't tried it but it would definitely add Protein.< /p>

The 2x Protein Greek yogurt 15 grams Protein and add unflavored to add more

What type of yogurt brand do you get? I eat yoplait. 10 grams then I add more. But 15 would be great.

I've done that, and as long as you don't put too much cottage cheese in, it's perfect. I put too much in once and the cottage cheese kinda melted in the eggs and made it runny. It wasn't good.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
