Good Day! Gallbladder is out and i'm feeling great!!! I love my Doctor!!!...Told him about the waves of pouch pain I get when my pouch is empty and he said sounds like a ulcer. He gave me acid reducer and some liquid that starts with a "C"....Maybe I can start losing again since i'm not always putting something in my pouch to make it feel better. Woohooo...so glad this is over and my empty pouch does not even hurt now..Good day all around :)

Its called carafate and it coats your pouch.

Gladbyou are feeling better.

Thanks so much...Yes, that is what it is, Carafate. Hope you are doing better as well :)...I woke up pretty sore today, so just taking it easy and resting.

Stupid me got on the scale this morning and gained 6 pounds of fluid (It better be freaking fluid!)

Enjoying the day with family at reunion. Heres a pic of me and my sisters and brother. Im the one in orange (the only big one) . ;)

I am waiting for a surgery date. I dont exercise much. I work 12 hour night shifts which involve a lot of walking, bending, lifting.. The most i can handle is windowshopping/walking 2-3 hours on my days off. Looking forward to getting rid of some weight before i really start exercising. I am hoping that in minus 50 lbs i will be to walk without hurting my feet, ankles or knees. My hips are already better after 30lb lost.

I just caught sometimes bug. My lungs are filling up fast and I feel like crap.

It's amazing how a little weight loss can help our joints. I noticed my hips felt better after a 15 lb loss. Hoping you get your surgery date real soon!

I work on my feet all day too. Working part time sometimes I get online 4 hour shifts... Before surgery my feet, ankles, and knees would be killing me. And that was only 4 hours. After losing between 15-20 lbs. I felt like a whole new person. And it didn't hurt at the end of my 4 hour shifts. Hope you get your surgery date soon.

My pt dr said it's 4 pounds of pressure for every pound on your joints ect. So with my 80 pound loss that's 320 pounds I was like holy balls. No wonder we hurt so bad.

Wish that theory would hold true for my back! Was up doing more than usual at the reunion and I hurt so bad tonight. Want this stupid pain to be done!

The pain meds are wonderful...in lala land right now. My hubby said the Dr. told him my gallbladder was fused to my liver and he had to burn it off....Oh my Wow' date=' and to think i was second guessing getting it out! Thanks to all of you for your encouraging words and advice. I really love this group <3[/quote']

Glad you're on the mend. I hope you will feel much better now! Prayers going out to you for a speedy recovery.
